Therapy Animal Team Visitations
PAAWS teams visit a wide array of facilities in the community including:
R.E.A.D. (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) is a program that encourages reading skills with young children in after school programs, schools, summer camps and libraries.
"Animals (dogs) teach us in unexpected ways. When a child reads to a READ dog, all fear of being judges or doing it wrong is removed. They know that dogs listen better than anyone. It's sweet and natural and keeps them coming back for more"

PAAWS on Campus
During the school year, PAAWS teams are regular visitors at Lane Community College and University of Oregon during exams and other times when students can really use a happy tail greeting to help relief stress.
Many students are away from their own pets at home and really appreciate some one on one doggy time with our pet partners.
